Since 1968, The Retired Teachers of Ontario/Les enseignantes et enseignants retraités de l’Ontario (RTO/ERO) has provided excellent programs and services for teachers, school and board administrators, educational support staff, childhood educators, child care professionals and college and university faculty in retirement. A bilingual, non-profit organization, RTO/ERO provides a strong and active voice for over 72,000 members ranging in age from 46 to 109, including over 6,700 associate members.
For close to 50 years, RTO/ERO continues to provide service to members who range in age from 46 to over 109. Providing a strong and active voice for a voluntary membership, RTO/ERO is a full service organization offering:

RTO/ERO is the only organization with representation from elementary, secondary, public, Catholic and francophone schools. We also welcome college and university faculty and educational support staff from schools and school boards.
At the Provincial level, members are actively involved in Senate, the governing body of RTO/ERO. the Provinial Executive and several committees.
At the District level, members participate in social, travel and leisure opportunities, political advocacy and District leadership roles.
